Kevin's Run is a 5k race through the west end of Hartford, CT. The race is in remembrance and celebration of the life of Kevin Mendez. Kevin fought leukemia for many years and passed away on April 6, 2010. He was a special and valued member of the Classical Magnet community and members of the school community we run to honor and celebrate his life and memory. All proceeds will fund the creation of the Kevin Mendez Pietas Award Fund and will be given to a worthy Classical Magnet senior to put towards college. We are proud to be able to demonstrate our love for Kevin and his family through this event.
